Type Locality and Naming
Along the village of Sukok, Parkent district, Tashkent region. M.V. Mikulin, M.P. Safarov (Safarovidr., 1999f.). The most complete section is described in trench 15, passed at the southeast outskirts of the village of Sukok (Mikulin et al., 1982).

Lithology and Thickness
The deposits of the suite are represented by pale, brownish-gray, light-brown loess with six paleosols of pale-light-gray and one dark-brown to black. On the plain and in the foothills, the number of paleosols decreases to two or three, and only two pedocomplexes are clearly distinguished. In the lower part of the suite, small (2-3 cm) carbonate concretions of the "crane" type, white in color, are abundant. Thickness from 20 to 50 m and more.
Previously (Mikulin et al., 1982), the suite was distinguished as the Pskent layers. The suite encompasses two complexes - the Golodnostepsky and Syrdarya.

Regional extent
Widely distributed - foothills of the Chatkal-Kuramin region, interfluve of the Chirchik, Angren, and Malguzar rivers, southern slopes of the Nurata ridge, Kashkadarya region, Fergana Valley.
